Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Computer Science graduate to start a career in software quality assurance, working closely with development teams to ensure the highest software quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure automated tests using 3rd-party platforms, ensuring coverage of all platform functionalities.
- Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality and reliability
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found in the application.
- Review product requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and testability.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand changes and update test plans accordingly.
- Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes and improvements.
- Assist in improving QA processes and methodologies.
- Learn and contribute to internal test automation tools over time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linux and AWS (advantageous).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to document test results clearly.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or coursework in software testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or scripting (Advantage).
- Familiarity with SaaS applications.
